Tida Ball: Founder and CEO—Boobies & Brunch

Tida is divorced mother of three teenagers, a mini sheepadoodle, and a mini poodle. She has a career spanning over two decades in advertising and marketing before she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. At her first mammogram and urgent biopsy at the age of 43, a large tumor was found in her left breast. The devastating news began her cancer journey and the desire to share testimony of a loving God and how to support other women based on her very own experiences.

In 2024, Boobies & Brunch was created to promote overall women’s wellness.

“Often it was the most unlikely people who found within themselves a spark of something greater. It was probably always there, but most people are never tested, and they go through their whole lives without ever knowing that when things are at their worst, they are at their best.”

Jonathon Mayberry

God answered her question, ‘this was that BIG thing that was meant for me, wasn’t it’?

‘Yes.’

Tida Ball founded ‘Boobies & Brunch,’ to continue honoring her breast cancer journey and making the most of her time living out her newfound purpose.

From the time hearing the word ‘cured’ after a fight against Stage 3 Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (an 18 month journey beginning in October 2019, which included a double mastectomy, lymph node dissection, reconstruction, radiation, and a hysterectomy—oh and throw in a global pandemic), to recently gaining remission from the cancer metastasizing to Stage 4, she has been thinking of how to pick up the pieces and become whole again.

Tida has been open and transparent throughout her journey, leaning into her faith—surrendering to God, her supporters that surrounded her, and her ‘whatever-it-takes’ attitude. So, when the opportunity came about, in the most serendipitous way to share her story—she didn’t hesitate to do so. After her guest appearance on a 2021 podcast (Part 1/Part 2), it was apparent there was more story to tell, more connections to make. To help. To inspire.

And then tragedy in the passing of her mother in the spring of 2023, quickly followed by a devastating discovery that the cancer had come back in October 2023, diffuse in her bones and leading to a spontaneous rib fracture, set her on a new trajectory. But, faith restores the weak. Tida, through prayer, asked to help find a cure so that she didn’t have to rely on modern medicine for the rest of her life. With a specific protocol and intense six week detox, she was able to reduce her cancer tumor cells by 82% and is currently in remission from Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer.

And here we are…building Boobies & Brunch together.

Brunch. Grow. Keep Going.
